This Strat Varitone Harness fits in the place where the 2 tone pots are and is installed in the same way. You can have the hot wire going to the switch or you can have it going to the volume pot. I will supply a diagram for which ever wiring you need. This is passive no battery needed. The settings on the varitone start with: one is a .047 this allows you to still have your standard Strat tone this also does not go through the inductor, two is mid boost, 3 bass cut, 4 treble cut, 5 mid scoop and 6 dark jazz tone. These settings have been tweeked to be more effective than a standard Gibson varitone or any other one you might find on ebay. Unlike most varitones this a separate volume so you can dial in as much of the tone as you want. 5 business day shipping The varitone volume is a Bourns 250k noload pot , This allows you to cut the varitone circuit out of the signal giving you a true bypass the knob has a notch that when turned all the way up so you can tell when it's bypass.
